Take Charge of your Mood Swing and be your OWN BOSS!

Mood Swing is often defined as “Roller-Coaster” of feelings from happiness, sadness, anger, irritation and sometimes hunger also. Changes in sleeping patterns, menstruation, self-esteem,unhealthy diet, drug abuse or hormonal imbalances can be signs of oncoming mood disorder.


Hey it’s Farhin here! I am a student and a dreamer. I am born and raised in Bangladesh.When I was 18, I met a boy and I fell in love. He proposed to me and before saying yes to him, I told him about my mood-swings. He ensured that it will not be a problem. But it did become a problem to the point where we couldn’t even talk or date properly because my rapid mood swings. I became moody and psycho to him and the day finally came when
we…broke up.

After that the real struggle started….

I was in clinical depression and stopped communicating with everyone. People around me started talking that I have mental illness and I need to go to a doctor for check-up. But only I know what was inside me and what I was feeling. Those memories stopped me from on.Friends of mine and also his friends started blaming me for the break-up. I was getting sick and started believing that I am a psycho. Everyone suggested me that time will heal everything, but nobody was going through what I was going through. I went to my grandfather’s house and talked to my grandmother. I literally told everything from start to end. She helped me to be stable that time.


After that I started to do research on mood swing. I have talked to many people around me who suffered from this issue. That time I realized I am not the only one. There are lots of people who are fighting with this and most surprisingly 98% of them are girls. After finding this, I immediately took an appointment of a doctor and went for to take consultation. After
knowing my situation doctor suggested me to take ‘’Cognitive behavioural Therapy’’ to improve my mental condition. After taking some few sessions, I was completely stable to handle my mood.

Message for Everyone ….

Mood swing is not a problem it is situation which makes our mood to be in trouble. Those who have this issue, please try to talk with your closed ones. Try to make your mind stable first for what step you are going to take next. Go and consult with a doctor. Trust me it works!


I am the living example who suffered from mood swings from an early stage of life and finally conquered it. Because you know how? Life has its own turning point and taking part in this is the best way to live.
